I've never had a lifting partner. I've trained others, but I've never had especially a girlfriend that shares my passion for fitness. What say you ?

SGT (Join to see) There are a lot of people that enjoy fitness, but not everyone enjoys achieving their goals the same way. Lifting is great but I personally dislike the consistency of the routine what I mean is a bench press is a bench press, a squat is a squat, a fly is a fly, overhead press is a overhead press....the routine kills me I like variety. There's just no way around that. I think it's great for guys because generally speaking men are looking to bulk up. Also for the most part while I think it's great to have a male assist with lifting for a female the reverse cannot be said to be the same if your partner is a serious lifter. If you're benching your body weight say 235 lbs and you get into trouble, it's going to be difficult for a female to assist (catch that weight). Personally I like high impact cardio workouts, not everyone else's cup of tea. Even in this we reach levels where we are limited on partners male or female. If you found a girlfriend who shared your fitness passion would you be willing to change your routine or would you expect her to fit into yours...there lies a problem.
