I am currently a international studies major in college and would like any advice going into this mos. I know its based on cultural aspects as well as psychological aspects. Any information you can give is helpful!

37F is an MOS that is highly deployable. It has a very high operational tempo. There are no officers in this MOS. That has strengths and weaknesses. Often coupled with Civil Affairs, many officers don’t adequately know how to use PsyOp. On the other hand they tend not to mess with you much. It can be exciting working on the front lines as a force multiplier winning the the hearts and minds of foreign people.

Thank you for insight MSG. I am currently still preparing to go to my AIT. I am trying to study some material to better prepare me when I get there.
I can't speak much to the reserve units and their battle rhythm, but if you have any questions about PSYOP, don't hesitate to reach out.
Study concepts such as Mazlows Hierarchy of needs, Understand basic marketing and propaganda through marketing. Have a general knowledge on how to do case studies on a culture. Research, research, research the history of psyop and general McClure and some of the events unclassified released. It will help having a knowledge of this particular job your going into.
