Bad headaches. 3-4 pills of Tylenol 500 mg.
For the migraines, Vicodin, dark room with door closed, ear plugs, head under pillow, NO movement.

LTC (Join to see) - I'll give it a try. Any side effects Sir? Sleepiness, etc?

MSG (Join to see) - Definitely. Benadryl has the same active ingredient found in ZZZ-quil. It puts her to sleep, but we would rather deal with her being asleep than taking her to the hospital.

Tylenol ok for small headaches but I butt reamed out by Dr and zany sister who is a Va NPA. Tylenol will cause liver damage that can not be reversed. So please be careful with it.

Need to assess the following, very common causes for headaches:
1. blood pressure low or high?
2. last eye exam?
3. blood sugar too low or too high?
4. dehydrated?

One more possible source: O2 deprivation caused by sleep apnea. Once I started CPAP, the cluster headaches stopped.

Migraines 2-3 times a week. I use 100mg Sumatriptan plus 1 x 10/325 hydrocodone. Then sit on the bench in my shower and let the rain shower head beat down on my nugget until the hot water is gone.

Sounds really bad. Hopefully yr meds will keep a lid on them and not require an increase.

Capt Tom Brown - I also get occipital nerve blocks once a quarter. The blocks pretty much take care of them for a couple of months.

I feel ya SGM Steve Wettstein. How does the Sumatriptan work for you? Triptans scare me after the first and last time I tried Imitrex.

Have you tried this. Fill a coke bottle full of hot water place behind you neck lay or sit there until your neck pops. Also get a water heater on demand. It hit water until you run out of water.
