All you photogenic military personnel out there in RP Land let’s have a little photo session just to lighten it up today! Share the first photograph or the earliest photograph of yourself when you entered the military and tell us the date of the photo.
I'll start with Private Burroughs in 1975 at Fort Leonard Wood, MO & end with Colonel Mikel in 2005!

picture on the left taken at Ft Knox Jul 1966 I had been in 6 months. the other picture my son and I at his wedding he was a SP/4 82nd Airborne

I still have regrets for retiring when I did. why well 6 months prior I had receive a letter from the SGM Academy. and according to the SGMA/SEACA once you receive the letter your going to make SGM.

Sgt Paul Jones maybe if you request a hard copy of your military records there is a copy of the photo that was used for your initial ID. I was able to get one that way, but I don't know if that holds true now. Maybe you can contact the air base where you when your basic and they might have an archive section. You never know. You can post one of a later date, if you have it as well.
