All you photogenic military personnel out there in RP Land let’s have a little photo session just to lighten it up today! Share the first photograph or the earliest photograph of yourself when you entered the military and tell us the date of the photo.
I'll start with Private Burroughs in 1975 at Fort Leonard Wood, MO & end with Colonel Mikel in 2005!

Found me s’one to take a pic at the static display not far from front gate I think..

I think this photo was taken at the in-processing station at Ft. Jackson, circa 1986. Then, I remember taking my basic training in winter time down yonder.

Fort Knox, KY, Basic training, Squad Leader, E12-5, built on pride. 1972. Later went to Fort Gordon, GA to be an MP.

SGT Dick Johnson - I have looked at satelite views of the area, it looks like it has really changed. The WWII barracks we used appear to be gone along with some of the "fun" training areas.

Maybe not the first, but the first that I have. (Funny thing, this was the only time I wore this. Wound up in security and wore nothing but fatigues)
