All you photogenic military personnel out there in RP Land let’s have a little photo session just to lighten it up today! Share the first photograph or the earliest photograph of yourself when you entered the military and tell us the date of the photo.
I'll start with Private Burroughs in 1975 at Fort Leonard Wood, MO & end with Colonel Mikel in 2005!

I had to search throughout my computer for this photo taken at Fort Leavenworth late 1960. I was a bonafide PFC (one stripe) assigned to USAG and in direct support of the installation's communications center (RUWMFL was the message routing ID.) While waiting for my TS clearance to come in I worked the Western Union and our radio-teletype rig called an AN/GRC-26D every Thursday and connected to Fort Riley. During this time I performed in the theater and entered an Army entertainment contest a few times. Although on call for KP and Honor Guard I consider this assignment a great one.
We had a few good looking WACs too.
