Let's have some great picture memorabilia!
I'm really going out on a limb here with this one. There were some really great photos of RP Members in their very first uniform picture. Thanks for sharing everyone who participated - that is still going by the way!
Picture of my Dad (PFC Don Burroughs, Korean War Veteran)
Now let's get some pictures of the last days in uniform posted!

The last time that I wore my uniform (Dress that is) would have been the NCO dining in that I attended at Fort Carson. I'm the third one from the right. Good times.

Thanks. I was prior enlisted so just shy of 50. General Coleman was just shy of 62 as he had more prior enlisted time and of course 30 years commissioned. He retired three months later.

Receiving my shadow box from Maj Todd Pinkard at my retirement ceremony, which was about a month before my actual retirement 1 Apr 2014. Yes, that is an Army combat patch at the top, awarded at a joint billet in Iraq. Of course, I could never wear it on an Air Force uniform.

I'm curious, how does a finance guy wind up in combat? (I'm genuinely curious, not doubting at all!)

SN Greg Wright - Fair question. I won't say I was in combat. We just took indirect fire on a regular basis in the Green Zone. However, I have been in interesting non-combat situations carrying AF cash. The "full faith and credit of the United States Government" doesn't mean a thing in some countries.

Photograph one of first in the Corps. Finding the last in Marine uniform would require a search. The California Highway Patrol may have one. Last photograph as a contracted operator in Afghanistan. Holding mint condition captured SKS. Photograph was about the rare condition of the old soviet era rifle.

My last "official" pic, when I made O-5. I was so sick and tired of all the USAF and DoD BS that I didn't request a retirement ceremony or any of the typical BS retirement medals, just a flag...
