Quinten Tarantino directed movies such as Inglorious Bastards, Django Unchained, and Pulp Fiction. He has a new movie coming out called the Hateful Eight. If the success of his previous movies can be used as an indicator, I think it's very likely this is going to be a great movie too.

What do you think, would you go see this movie based on the past success of other movies he has directed?

Nope. Support our men in blue. Boycott Tarantino.

COL Sam Russell I can agree on not liking his position in this matter. I have liked the last couple of movies he has released though.

See it in a different lense-
The movie is actually your favorite restaurant with AMAZING food. But they've recently made a statement of their stance on a situation that greatly opposes your own. Will you continue to eat there?

CPT (Join to see) - I also enjoyed his movies. He uses his position of public influence to spew hatred to create a mob like hatred. Done with him.

SSgt (Join to see) - This is more than taking a stance. Your "restaurant" analogy falls short because it doesn't wield the kind of influence that Tarantino reaches. And, yes, restaurants get boycotted all the time. Look at Chick-fil-A on their religious stance concerning mandatory health care that violated their religious beliefs. Look at the career killing boycott that country music genre did of the Dixie Chicks because of their public anti-Bush statements made during a concert in England. Boycotts can be misplaced, but they also can be very effective. I believe they're warranted in Tarantino's case.

More than likely, I've also liked all of his movies. Some of my favorites are the ones you mentioned and From Dusk to Dawn.
