Do you miss the military?

I ETS'd exactly 10 years ago today.
It brings me a lot of sadness considering that I would still be in if it were up to me.

How long have you been out, and if you were capable, would you still be in?

I retired in '92 and most of all, I miss the people. I would do it all over again.

I got RIF'd at the end of 93. At first I was angry. I tried joining the Navy reserves, but they didn't have my rate available. Still to this day, I miss the camaraderie and the people. I'm somewhat lucky that my two best friends that I had in the Navy are still close to me today.

Out in '96 after 6. Miss the brotherhood and camaraderie of like minded individuals. Cronyism and assorted BS, Nope.
