Do you prefer the sound of the Rhodes, Wurlitzer, or Clavichord over the grand piano?

Always loved the sound of the Fender Rhodes. Trouble is when you are an old guy like me, having to haul one to play for gigs, is like toting a Hammond B-3 with a Leslie!

I needed that laugh. I too love the sound of Rhodes. I've bought hundreds of Rhodes samples within the last few years. It's so versatile and smooth. You have any favorite tunes with the sound ?

Goucho - Steely Dan
Aja -Steely Dan
Pretzel Logic by Steely Dan
10cc - I am not in love
Gentle Giant - Edge of Twilight
Elton John - Daniel
Some Foreigner songs.
Steely Dan had the best "cruising" music when I was in the military. Me and friends would drive around for hours (imbibing) listening to their albums.

A couple of other great electric pianos from the 70's-90's were RMI and Yamaha's DX7. Great sounds.

First off, I. AM. NOT. a keyboard player, but I can fake it a little bit with some block chords and fills. That said, I use a Wurlitzer patch on my Roland keyboard almost exclusively. Some tremolo, some phaser, a bit of overdrive and voila! When I conceive piano parts for original music or covers, it's the sound I have in my head.

None of the above. Give me a grand piano any day, though I love instrumentals of any sort, particularly piano or guitar.

I like it when music is played on the instrument for which it was written, whether that's a piano, a harpsichord, organ or whatever.

I'd probably annoy you. I like hearing respectable variations of songs on different instruments.

No, that's cool too. As long as it doesn't detract from people's awareness of the real thing.
