With all the rhetoric about Russian collusion and no evidence at the present to validate the accusations.

1. Exactly what does Russia gain with a Trump Administration that affects our National Security? Foreign interference is common in elections even by the U.S.

2. Why do you believe the Trump administration would conspire with Russia?

3. Do you believe Vice President Pence or Congress would go along with this idea?

Let’s take a look at your first sentence:

“No evidence at the present to validate the accusations.”

No evidence? Are you on Mueller’s team, to where you can make that claim? We don’t know what Mueller has behind closed doors.

1. Putin gains by making our nation a laughing stock to others. We lose our standing in the world, and Putin gains.

2. We’ve already seen signals that they have. George Popodopolous bragging to an Australian about Russia having damaging dirt on Clinton; Don Jr’s correspondence with Natalya Veselnitskaya.

3. Congress is—at the very least—enabling him. Devin Nunes, who was on the Trump transition team, chaired the House Intelligence Committee, where the Republicans claimed no evidence of collusion, without allowing Dems to finish their investigation—or Mueller to finish his.

And for all of you supporting Trump but bashing Obama, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Trump mocked a POW (McCain: “I like my war heroes not to have been captured); he took a Purple Heart from a vet and said “I always wanted one of these—this was much easier”; he denigrated a gold star family (the Khans). His comments about Kaepernick are appalling; each and every one of you served to protect the very freedom of speech that his protest utilized. Yet Trump condemned him, and urged for him to be fired. Whether or not you agree with his protest, the fact of the matter is that you served to serve and protect the Constitution. Our president is currently verbally assaulting that document. Don’t believe me? Look at his attacks on Kaepernick (protected by the First Amendment). Look at his attacks on the press (who are protected by the First Amendment; he’s threatened their broadcast licenses). And before anyone gets started, I understand the First Amendment doesn’t protect Kaepernick from being fired from private employment. But it’s certainly bad optics that our president is attacking him and urging for him to be fired, yeah? Trump is an embarrassment to this nation, and I couldn’t be happier that I’ll never have to serve under his dumb, hateful, closed-minded ass.

Our POTUS is doing everything in his poer to rebuild what has been torn down in the last 20-30 years. The last 10 were especially devastating and his focus has been stopping policies implemented during that time. I sincerely believe President Trump has America's best interest at heart.

I think the entire topic offers nothing but mindless speculation. Investigations are underway and nobody outside of the investigating office knows whether or not there is any credible evidence. Americans, especially those in uniform, need to keep their mouths shut and remain patient while this whole thing plays out. Popular opinion is not a component of the investigation.

But we must be exposed to strands of truth as they play out so that the one side that keeps proclaiming FAKE NEWS doesn't hold too much sway. Thanks Cap'n!

With all due respect. I believe your using loaded questions with untruths as a foundation. A real discussion should not start with "...no evidence at the present to validate the accusations" while not tying it directly to the president there is overwhelming evidence of collusion from the administration. You actually allude to the fact by trying to deflect the seriousness of the act by stating the US has interfered with other countries elections (albeit true) but at the same time deny that it happened to this administration.

So I don't know how open minded of a discussion you desire.

Actually I believe Russia has tried to get American citizens to distrust our government for many years. Trying to promote discord within the United States and undermine public confidence. Just one of the many hold over ideas of the Cold War. I don't think it is anything new. And with the Justice Department charging 13 Russians and three companies on Friday alludes to that. Prosecutors have admitted the Russian operation began four years ago, well before Mr. Trump entered the presidential race. The indictment also mentions that on the same day in New York Russians posing as American citizens organized a pro Trump rally and one anti Trump rally. It also included that they were supporting Clinton's Democratic primary campaign rival, Bernie Sanders. All to cause chaos with the populous. If there is overwhelming evidence of collusion then why no charges, because there was not any violated federal law.

The indictments of Paul Manafort and Rick Gates are about laundering money and being unregistered agents of the Government of Ukraine between 2006 and 2015 prior to being associated with the Trump campaign. General Flynn was indicted for lying to the FBI about contacting the Russian Government and discussing delaying a UN resolution dealing with Israeli settlements which took place after the election. As the National Security Adviser it was within his scope of duties and not illegal. George Papadopoulos pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russians not that the contacts were illegal in nature. What is known from court documents and testimony by Mr. Page before Congress is that the former Trump aide has been known to U.S. counterintelligence officials dating back to at least 2013, nearly three years before he joined the Trump campaign.
Former FBI Director James Comey stated the Christopher Steele dossier was of unverified research about the future president’s ties to Russia.

Get a grip. Facts: Don numnuts Jr meets with the Ruski's (should never happen), Don Sr. belittles "his intelligence team" on a daily basis , (since when do leaders tell the whole world their team stinks? (you have an issue pull them aside!), also the GOP has succeeded in sinking us further into debt than ever before (yet they bitched about Obama doing it on a daily basis), Trump has lied or told mis-truths over 2400 times in 365 days (seriously!), He has succeeded in pissing off all our allies (we need them!), He has always treated women as second class citizens and always will. King Trump will never be a "leader" or "Presidential" in any way. Get a grip!

All you need to do is follow the Sec State Hillary Clinton pay to play money and its funneled sources that entered into the Clinton Foundation, the sale of Uranium One, the fake dossier that was used to initiate the FISA warrant...and the 50,000-plus texts that have been revealed by Peter Strozk and Lisa Page noting the inside corruption of spying and the coup/plan to bring down a candidate Trump and then a President Trump. The answer to the headlined above question is a very easy: No

Trump is an American leader. One of the very few elected officials to step into the fray of the political madness of our age, and take a stand. He is far from ideal that’s for sure. But he won’t Be throwing us under the bus until after the re-election.

I really do not understand how any member of the US military can support President Trump. The man had no leadership ability. If he were in your chain of command at the battalion level or lower you would most likely hate him. Why? Because he is a hypocrite who expects all subordinates to follow every rule, but does not follow them himself. He brags of how great he is, but hasn’t accomplished anything to prove it.
And before you respond that Obama was also a terrible leader, you should remember that Obama served his community in some of the worst parts of Chicago as a leader before embarking on a political career. The only one that Trump has ever served is himself.
