There is value in that however, many Marines need to find their own pathway to a successful career.

Thanks for the comment. I welcome your thoughts on the overall site. We are always looking to improve.

Watch for our podcast, "Cigars and Sea Stories", launching this summer. We will be smoking and joking with a bunch of wonderful veterans.

I can get right into those cigars! As for Sea Stories, I've got a bunch of Vietnam Experiences, War Stories, if you will? I don't really talk about them but I sure did write about them. Check it out at http://www.uniformsthebook.com

I think that being able to share our experiences with each other is a blessing. We're not all built the and some tactics work better for some than others. I thinks it's important that everyone learns how to adapt and overcome, but as we all know in the service sometimes your told to do things that are a little like "Uh hh hh that's dumb".

Marines need to adapt and overcome, think for themselves. it build character and leadership. if a Sergeant needs a website to help them out that Sergeant should probably go to Sergeants course.

Great comment, I agree but what IS Sgt's course? We have resources to go to that describe the school. How do we prepare Marines for Sgt's course? Is the answer that the chain of command should help them? Bloodstripes.com is a resource for all Marines of the past to provide their lessons learned to future generations. To mentor and provide insights to Marines, so Marines can concentrate on their true mission; to win wars.
