Do you support term limits on the United States Congress? Why or why not?

I'll go further than that. I support overall limits on serving in elected office at any level. 15 years maximum, at the city, county/parish, state, and federal levels combined. Let's put an end to the career politicians. Also, take corporate and dark money out of politics. Make it really about serving the people and then returning to life as a private citizen.
Yes, and no.
My philosophy and proposal is that you are not allowed to run for office while in office, even re-election. This would means that every can only serve one term at a time, BUT they can serve as many terms as the people will elect them. And if you want to "upgrade" (i.e. governor or Senator wants to run for President) you resign your current position before you are even allowed to announce.
Of course, there is no way our politicians would ever pass this, because a large portion of their graft comes through the campaign. And it is much harder to make promises to donors about *if* elected as compared to what they can promise while currently serving.
So, since that would never fly, I say 2 terms or 8 years, whichever is greater, in any office. Then it is time to move to a different position or to return to the private sector.

Yes, there can be outliers - there can be the occasional Zuckerberg who goes from tinkerer to tech CEO with nothing in between (political equivalent: Trump). There can be the fast risers who are ready for the next level - or even to skip a level or two - early (Political equivalents: Obama and Harris).
But having folks who are experts at legislating serving at the highest levels makes sense to me.
