It is interesting! I have been looking at where large money amounts > $500,000,000 in recent years. On first glance I wanted to know...just for the fun of it!!!

While I am of a very rational mind there are some over coffee today that posed the question based on their recent gut, as it were and the fact that California has won the last two > $1 billion and this got me to wondering.

So, here is some evidence and I'll you consider this short, yet incomplete list of referenced to make your own decisions:

Again, this is just a fun question to ask!

Could have some humorous responses mixed with serious ones emerge? I think so.

Eager to her from the audience....................................Is the lottery rigged at times or are their better angles watching? Humm................................

Does the distribution math make sense in fact vs fiction discussion?

While it does appear that the three largest jackpots all went to CA, they have had remarkably few total jackpots considering their population. I think the selection of 500M is rather arbitrary, and if you expand to 100M, all of a sudden a lot of red states come into play.

Could it happen? Sure. Is it happening, I don't think so.
