I would love to see it happen, and I believe it has a chance, but only if people are willing to fight for it.
LEOSA works for those who qualify, but the rest of us need something.

I, too, would love to see this pass. If it ever has had a chance of becoming law, I think the political climate is ripe now. To my way of thinking, reciprocity would enhance public safety in that those of us so licensed will be enabled to carry across state lines while we travel around the country. While I have never found it necessary to draw or expose my weapon I am prepared to do so if circumstances warrant such action. It that necessity was to arise under current laws I could very likely be away from my home state and be in a state that does not recognize my California CCW.

That would be great, but unless each state agrees which there are some that won't its not going to happen. Each state has control over who can carry and who can't. As much as I would like to see it happen the feds have no say in it.

I've never understood why the full faith and credit clause doesn't cover this. Anybody know why this hasn't been applied to CCL?
