Do you think President Obama could have ordered (covertly or overtly) wire-tapping of then President-Elect Trump?

He didn't, and alot of the stable geniuses still on this bandwagon need to get over that.
Hell, at this point, Obama is about the only person who DIDN'T record what he's said/done at this point.

Of course he did!! But did he do it cause he was The POTUS or did he have Intel coming to his attention of meetings with other foreign govt. So who do we think did the intel FBI of course..

Why? Trump was elected, Obama is out of office. And Trump is Threatening Shutdown to get a wall he promised Mexico would pay. So while even if there was a tap, The Russians were the target. So what is the point of the post except to look at a man who is now a private citizen that has little if any influence in policy.

If it was done in the Watergate case, one can only imagine how many times domestic spying has been either ordered or sanctioned by POTUS..regardless of party. But with so many skeletons still hidden in the O closet thru the sealing of records it leads one to no other option for an answer than "you beet your bootie!".

He did and did both ! Only a few know the truth to this matter as NSA has all the information .... but isn't this just why the NSA was established: to prevent the subversion of the very Republic that it is supposed to be defending ? Meaning to support and defend the US CONSTITUTION, THE BILL OF RIGHTS and THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE and not the POLITICAL AGENDA of a POLITICAL PARTY ?

All he needs is a court order. A candidate for POTUS is just a guy. He deserves the protections afforded to him by the constitution. That's it. If a lawyer can convince a judge that one particular guy is a scumbag, the judge may rule that certain of those protections may be suspended while we have a sniff.

The sitting POTUS is not just a guy, he's the POTUS. Be careful when you blow smoke at him because there are some people who tend to be deferential to him because of his office. He is the POTUS, but even he doesn't get to disrespect the constitution. He still needs the court order.
Not that it might happen to you, but you should know what to do if you were ordered to wiretap a U.S. citizen without a court order. In other words, is it a legal order? If it's nor a legal order, guess who would be the first person going to jail?

If there was enough evidence available to convince a Judge that it was warranted perhaps, that seems unlikely though...

Anything is possible at that echelon.

I would put nothing past that divisive liar, he'd do anything to get what he wants like most muslims, liberals, or progressives, the end justifies the means. Thank God the worst President in history is out of the White House.
