Trump is calling for Justice Ginsburg to resign and many of his supporters agree. This issue is lighting up on social media as you would expect with Trump leading the charge to oust Ruth Ginsburg.

No, but the voting Court will be seven members as she should recuse herself if there's a contested election result. She demonstrated a strong bias, hence has a conflict of interest. Nobody but the Justice can recuse themself. If it comes to it, we'll see the true colors of the Liberal Democrats if Obama and Lynch don't publicly push for recusal. Some things are bigger than political parties. This is one of them.

Justice Ginsberg just issued a "Letter of Apology" according to my sources in Washington DC

There was no apology, just a cut/paste standard shouldn't have done that blurb. In other words, she shouldn't have revealed her strong anti-Trump bias. Recusal is the only proper response should the case come up.

No but she should have shut the Hell up about her political opinion as a Justice.

Absolutely not, though my personal belief is that sitting Supreme Court justices should refrain from making comments, ensuring that there is no perceived bias when a case reaches them. Justice Scalia was far more vocal about his opinion on issues outside the courtroom and no one seemed to have an issue with that, one comment by Justice Ginsburg and people ask if she should resign?

Scalia never told people that he would leave the US if somebody was elected. The Court should base decisions off the law without outside political influences. We have seen the Court create laws without Congress and if it does not stop they will destroy our democratic system. This is just one example of the judges overstepping their positions.

A Supreme court Justice should refrain from all public political comment, they are in a position where they cannot allow their views to affect their judgement when concerning the law. Besides she just took herself off the case if for some reason this election had to go to the Supreme Court like a past one did. Yes she should resign for her behavior.

Do you think Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg should resign?

No, just because you are a Supreme Court Justice doesn't mean you can't have an opinion and express it. More troubling to me is that Trumps reaction to anyone who objects to his positions is to ban them or require them to resign. There won't be very much continuity of government with an attitude like that.

Trump is an ego maniac and he could be the next Commander and Chief! and as for Clinton it is a sad state of affairs when this is what we have to chose from.

Yes, she has violated a time honored tradition of justices of the SCOTUS being outwardly quiet on matters political.

Actually, she should have been impeached years ago for placing international law above the Constitution of the United States.

Ginsburg is an unqualified left-wing political hack who never should have been on the court to start with.

Let's be honest here, Trump and his supporters are only clamoring for RBG to resign because she was critical of him. If she were singing his praises, he'd not be at all up in arms........consider the source.

Maybe she should move to New Zealand regardless of this election's outcome.
