I heard basic training was going to be on-line soon. SSD(-1). I also heard drill sergeants wouldn't be allowed to type in CAPS.

When did they put out about getting rid of wlc or is this just a joke. If they do how you going to train the new future NCO, s. alot of up and coming nco, s have bad leadership or none at all. I personally had one great squad leader, she was a great mentor, but after about a month or so I went to another unit. then after about a yr at that in it I finally got a good platoon sg and then I re enlisted to where I am now. so 81 you get or have good leadership where you are learn as much as can from them.u

This would be one of THE BIGGEST MISTAKES that the Army could make....it was bad enough when it was dropped to a 15-day course, young NCOs-in-waiting need the curriculum that is provided by WLC from the proven SGLs and Sr SGLs assigned to the NCO Academies.

That is a no! This is where young E-4's and 5's receive a brief indoctrination of what an NCO is and how he/she should be as a LEADER! The basic steps before crawling, leading to the walk of a leader, stepping into the running phase as a true professional.
