Not because I don't want to, or because I don't care about regulation, but because the chain we wear them with lasts about a week before it breaks and is too small to get around my neck. They are in the cup holder of my car for the random inspections and PII.

And I have my Drill Sergeants show me theirs. If Privates are required to wear them, so does cadre. Real simple.

Sadly I do not. But it's mostly due to the nature of being a Cable Dawg and AFI 91-203.
Can't wear them in a manhole
Can't wear them while climbing a tower or pole
Can't wear them by energized equipment
Can't wear them by machinery with moving parts that they could get caught in
So that pretty much leaves wearing them at other times and taking them off to do actual work, which just presents the chance to forget to take them off and get messed up.

Usually around my neck while deployed and on my righthand beltloop while home.

I only wear them while in uniform and around a belt loop and tucked in my pocket.

I don't wear them, but I still have the originals from basic training. I don't wear them because I am not going into combat, and I don't consider them fashionable, considering current events.

I lost one of them many years ago. The one I have is on my key ring and has been for almost 25 years now.
