I used to wear one in my flight boot lace, that's what we were taught in the mid 80's escape and evade class during the SAC era. Besides that I never wore them.

I wear one of my old dog tags incase something happens to me. Also have two medical alert tags on same chain. One as a diabetic insulin warning and second as a blood thinner medication warning. It is also in memory of those that are still serving, those that served, our wounded and those that gave it all and didn't return to us alive.

Wear 'em everyday. Im a mechanic so at times I must take them off but I put them in my pocket. But new AR/DA PAM 670-1 changed so it is required to wear them regardless of what previous reg stated.

I use to wear them everyday. But stopped once I broke the chain. I didn't want to worry about loosing my tags

I don't wear them anymore since I am no longer in, however I keep them hanging on my rear-view mirror in my car.

SPC Stephanie Oanes Same question I asked the other person who does this. You are not concerned with having your name and specifically you SSN on view for the world to see.

They Must really have to be up on my car in order to read such tiny print, plus my car is tinted 25% on all windows and I have the tint on the top of the windshield. So no, I'm not worried.
