Do you wear your dog tags daily? Only when your deployed? Only since you got out?
In my own service it is unusual for SM's to wear their's daily. Often they are kept in the mobility folder.

i keep them in my drawer back at the dorms. i was given a specific order to wear them only on a deployed setting. it is currently sitting next to my air force coins

I wear mine.
The set I wear were my initial issue from Basic Training 18 years ago. Here soon, I will likely put them away and wear a different set for keepsake purposes.

I wore them while active but have since put them away in my shoe box of Navy stuff for safe keeping.

I wear my dog tags anytime I am on duty, but do not wear them when off duty or on my day job.
Edit: I still wear my tags from basic 18 years ago. I have a new set that I will start wearing when I hit my 20 and I will give each of my kids one of my original tags.

Since I am in the Guards I wear them while in uniform. But I wear them hanging off my belt loop tucked into one of my pockets. I do this because it seems like if I wear them around my neck they were always breaking.
