Do you wear your dog tags daily? Only when your deployed? Only since you got out?
In my own service it is unusual for SM's to wear their's daily. Often they are kept in the mobility folder.

Like any smart mechanic in the military though I did not wear them around my neck they were wrapped around me belt loop

I keep mine on my mirror in my car. I put a metal hamsa on the small chain with one of the tags. Sometimes when I'm getting anxious, I will reach up and hold them while I'm driving & rub my fingers over the raised side.

I've thought about that, but my window tint is dark enough (the cops even put the machine on it last time I got pulled over). Plus, the criminals around here aren't smart enough to know what to do with it, or that it's even on there if they see them.
