Does a SSG separated by the QMP receive full or half separation pay?

Half pay, but only if you appeal. If you elect not to submit character statements and request separation you don't receive even half pay.

It's half. In fact, I there's an article about separation pay that states it, either on HRC or DFAS website.

SFC (Join to see) - What's the justification of the half pay? Does it have to do with the fact that they slap us with an RE4 and are unable to do the IRR time? If that's the case I find it ridiculous, especially seeing as how the majority of those facing the potential of separation have gone way beyond our 8 year MSO.

It's half pay because in order to receive full pay you have to be fully qualified to continue service. QMP identification takes that from you. I read that in addition to the RE 4 code you will receive another code stating wether you voluntarily/ involuntarily separated from the army and involuntarily receives half pay so I sent in my character references before April 30th just to be sure.

That's why. The law states that you have to be eligible to serve at least three years.
I fail to see why the connection between why you find it ridiculous and MSO. Pretty much everyone selected for QMP should have over 10 years in. It's the RE and separation code that prohibit RC service, not MSO.

AR 637-2 (Separation Pay (NonDisability) and Levels of Payment) on table 2-1, box number 7, states an enlisted soldier denied reenlistment/extension or continuation and separates as a result of a DA Qualitative Management Program receives 5 percent of 12 months of basic pay multiplied by the years and fractions of a year based on additional full months of active service.
i.e. QMP Separation pay = 5% x (12 x monthly base pay) x years of active service.
