Does any one else get discouraged when searching for a new career & they say military or veteran friendly?

I have often got discouraged because although they say veteran friendly some time we get underpaid while others that don't even have the training most of had make almost double or triple what we are offered. But you can't give up. Just gotta put your all in and hope for the best.
