Been working out for almost 2 Months, only water, green veggies & fruit & laxatives. Was hard at first due to csection but it’s gotten better. My neck is very small and the test is 2 weeks away. Taped myself and still 17 pounds lighter but same BMI. What am I doing wrong?

Trying to calculate your own BMI is my guess. Go see your doc.

SPC (Join to see) You carry your weight in hips and stomach and it is really difficult to see progress. I am the same way. I tend to drop a bunch of weight and then inches.
I started to wear back support belts to the gym to assist my efforts and found a side effect was a a smaller waist when weigh-in. I like the effect of wraps, but they are temporary.

Does anybody have any advice on the tape test?

I have a very small neck also. I have came close a couple times. I was overweight at that time. There isn't any way to cheat on it. The best advice for a tape is to avoid it. You have to maintain your height and weight within standard. If you are over that then you are risking it. It seems that you are cutting weight for the test but I would be concerned about your rapid weight loss and it's impacts on your health. But I would continue to try to do the best you can to lose weight and try to maintain your weight within standards.

Hello, I am a military spouse and a graduate student at UT Austin currently writing my thesis on physical fitness standards in the military. Above is a link to an anonymous survey conducted by Qualtrics. Please take less than 5 minutes to answer a few questions concerning the tape test to help me get some background information. Thank you!
