If the current policy message says they can waive it, then ask. If it says non-waiverable, then that's it. Just read the OCS message.

Talk with your recruiter. Up until recently the requirement was that you had to graduate OCS before turning 34. You would need a waiver from age 28 I believe.
Now, my recruiter tells me, he's seen waivers up to 36 but it depends on the AOC you're going for. The closer to a desk your position, the more likely they are to approve it.
