Does anybody's civilian employer continue their salary/wages while on AT or other short orders?

My company pays up to 15 days while on annual training and I receive full salary the whole period I'm deployed.

That's an excellent question. Some employers have programs for Reserve and Guard. It is, however, not the norm.

Most of the large contractor organizations Boeing, L3Com, etc, have programs, the Federal benefit is 15 days a year and will match your GS pay, if you are a GS12 and a E6 they'll pay the gap difference for your deployment.

The company I work for will make up the difference in pay while I am on orders. I just have to send them a copy of my LES

When I was a teacher, I got paid the same salary every month, whether I was on drill, AT, or summer break.
If the military orders cut into the school days at all (like a MUTA 6), however, then I lost pay for the days I needed a sub teacher.

Amway Corp in Ada Township, Michigan pays their National Guard employees their full salary while deployed, rather than dropping their income and making your family experience a reduction in lifestyle as a result of lower wages while on deployment. So your Amway salary continues along with receiving your military income. Now that's the Am(erican)way.

My employer does not have a formal program beyond the absolute minimum of the law in all respects of USERRA. That said my immediate supervisor saw no need to cut my salary for one week or less tdy or AT stints. The paperwork wasn't worth it especially if my core duties were covered. I strenuously avoided anything longer to avoid lost pay and messed up beNefits. Sure I was covered by law but the complaint resolution process makes the VA look fast.
