Does anybody still brasso the little things like oak leaf clusters, tip of the French fourragere, etc.?

Since the advent of sta-brite and other such things, brasso has gone the way of the dinosaurs.
I don't miss that chore one bit.

SGT Armstrong, Just last week, had the wife pick-up Brasso.. Removing Grandson's finger prints off a 3 foot, WW2, Brass shell casing.. WOW, what a job, Right arm, shoulder !! Next time I will try sta-brite, as per 1SG Healy...

I always brassoed my French Fourragere when I was in 3ID. Made the uniform look better IMO.
