http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/10-things/10-things-you-should-know-about-moving-to-office-365/

Last week my entire company was forced by corporate to use Microsoft 365 for email. We were using Microsoft outlook.

Everyone in my office is frustrated with this program. We are finding it user UNFRIENDLY and just a real pain in the arse.

Does anyone on RP use 365? What are you thoughts?

I have no experience with Microsoft 365 Sgt Kelli Mays.
I have been on the bleeding edge of software many times in various stages of development. I feel your pain vicariously :-)

Sgt Kelli Mays Like all upgrades to microsoft you have to get use to their changes, some good and some bad. I've gotten over the dislike and have moved forward. It is what it is!

We use it in our office and it seems to work well for us. I personally don't have an issue because I am certified in MS. But my wife, who is not a techy, seems to like it. I think it's just accepting that change is constant and we have to adapt and overcome.

I have started using 365 with an organization I am part of. There are things that I like and things that I do not.

I LIKE: everything is online and I am able to access from any PC. I am able to share documents and information from any location with a PC. I can interact with others in my organization instantaneously. I can map my email to my phone and be up-to-date on any goings on in the organization. I think that it has brought our organization closer and has promoted cohesive thought in our joint responsibilities. I think all of that is pretty cool.

I DO NOT LIKE: that the the system is for lack of a better term the "light" version of the real thing. If I want to do any real work I must download to my PC use the installed software with full functionality and then upload back to 365 for sharing. If the functionality is mostly available to view, it should be fully available to use on the site. That is really my only complaint.
