I have roughly 10 acres to build on. I know I would have to get a septic tank on it and get a power connection from the road. I am just more so asking about the actual house portion. Is it worth the hassle?

I’ve been in a similar situation, owning land and deciding whether to build or go the prefab route. I ended up using a hard money loan through YouLand https://youland.com/ to help fund the construction of my home. Honestly, it was a bit of a hassle at first, getting all the utilities set up and figuring out the logistics, but once the foundation was in, it felt totally worth it. The team at YouLand really helped me with the financing, which made things smoother than I expected. If you're comfortable with a little extra work upfront, building a house on your land can be so rewarding.
