Schedule a time with range control to use the chamber. You must have a medic on site when you do the training. Request the CS capsules through your land and Ammo representative. Make sure you have the proper making on your vehicle when transporting. Usually it takes 2 capsules to run the chamber and each tablet is to accommodate 50 pax before it needs to be recharged.

For risk assessment use for DD 2977. Usually the risk assessment is low. Have your S2 verify the form when done.

Thanks. Are there any specific instructions on the process or is it just bring them in and break the seal on their mask and clear it and send them on their way? What type of hazards and controls need to be on the risk assessment?

That’s how you do it yes. You can also have some fun with it like reinlistments, or you can make it fun. Some of the fisters had a quiz and if they got an answer wrong they had to finish the quiz with no mask. Stuff like that. Do what your rank can handle.

Far as risk assessment, go on google and type in 84th chem CBRN chamber risk assessment. You should find something. When in doubt, google it out. Google is how you find almost everything. Or if you have a share drive, check that out.

Actually, there are some recent and specific guidance about running a mask confidence exercise, including maximum temperature the pellets can be heated to, and removal of the mask during the exercise.

Connect with me and I can get your contact info and send it to you as well as a risk assessment I have
