I've been involuntarily mobilized for a few months now and if my math is correct I just hit 18 years Federal Active Service. Looking for input from anyone who has recently been involved with the process.

I've never had any experience with submitting for Sanctuary, but when I learned about it in the Translation NCO course, it sounded pretty straightforward and there's a page on HRC about it.
While I can't help with submitting your sanctuary, if you send me your stuff I can verify your Active Federal Service prior to submitting your request. I have Retention NCOs to train and Reserve Component officers are usually the most challenging cases.

My file is fairly straightforward i have a DD214 coming off active duty stating 16 years 9 months of service that period, 7 months prior active (from basic, AIT, National Guard orders) in the 2 years after i was active duty I did 2 annual training periods and another week for a shooting competition and 3 days for a Pre Mobilization SRP. I have all those periods reflected in my HRC records. The HRC website shows me at 17.69 years prior to my 284 day Mobilization. I'm certain i hit sanctuary on this mob and I'm a little less certain of what day i hit it.
My math landed me on Christmas Eve. We'll find out shortly, ill be sending the packet to HRC next month. I want to complete it with my promotion orders before i send it up so everything is consistent. I won't be 120 days out from the end of my mobilization until FEB.
