6-8 weeks is about right. There is a way to track your vehicle

SGM, that was true years ago and is more than likely still the case. Those ships have not gotten much faster

Last I was in Germany, it can be transported via transportation office that also ships HHGs (but that was years ago). I do know that there is a lengthy and in depth inspection/paperwork process involved. I would recommend getting with the transpo office as they can (should) provide better info.

Your best bet is to ask the VPC. The two overseas moves I did, one from Germany to Hawaii I had my vehicle in 30 days but this was before they changed companies.

Used to be 30-45 calendar days on a average. Note: I was in 1 ad hq when they moved from Germany to bliss so they may have had a deal or something

Mine took about 7 to 8 weeks Germany VPC to Dallas. Bremerhaven to Galveston, a few days in customs, then a truck to Dallas the next week. From Bliss, I once flew to Dallas and drove back same day. Another time I hired a carrier from Dallas VPC to El Paso so I could in process. Book your VPC appointment early and keep the tracking number handy. I booked that short haul through https://www.a1autotransport.com/. It was door to door with tracking, so planning the handoff was simple.
