Does anyone know how long it takes for a recruiter packet approval when voluntering

I am dropping a volunteer packet and just am wondering how long will the process actually take so i can come up with a back up plan

It depends on the application you submit and several different factors about your personal and professional background. Could take a few weeks or could take a month or more. The more thorough and complete your packet the better obviously. The background information may be quick and easy or could take quite a bit of follow up for review and potential waivers if applicable. There essentially is no exact timeline for application approval.

USAREC said mines was with branch and that was 3 months ago. I'm still standing by from branch (Field Artillery).
