Does anyone know of any NG units that would accept someone that's an MP team leader in southern Ga and northern Fla area?

I'm in the process of moving from Virginia to the southern Georgia or northern Florida area and I'm looking for housing civilian employment and a NG unit. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you talked to your IST coordinator? They will contact GA and help you to find a unit.

SGT Arnold, I am a newly retired Readiness NCO from the GA-ARNG. The Georgia Guard has multiple MP line units with the 179th MP CO in Savannah, GA being closest to the GA/ FL line. I am not sure what side of the state you are relocating to but if it is on the east coast the 179th is your answer. As one of the previous respondent's stated the IST coordinator is your first point of contact. The GA ARNG IST coordinator is Mr. Anthony Gilkes, his contact information can be found on outlook global. The most successful way to complete an IST is to do it coordinated. Mr. Gilkes works diligently to increase the overall end strength of the GA Guard with MOS qualified and capable personnel who are ready to work upon transfer.

Maybe try contacting the guard units in Georgia and ask to speak to the 1SG. They might be hurting for team leaders and can put in a good word. I'm active so I'm not too sure how that all works, but I'd figure that would be a good start! Good luck!
