Does anyone know of any resources to help me move my belongings to Texas while I undergo brain surgery? I came to TX for a 2nd opinion to have 2nd brain surgery and now that I need to move here I need to get my things mover here and not sure how?

I had to take out a loan and my surgery is on the third of may. So now I just have to pay the loan back. Thanks for asking.

AN Mary Tucker Very sorry to hear about the upcoming brain surgery that you need. Where are you moving from Mary in the first place - just need a State, no address or city? The resources that Ted provided below are excellent. Maybe if you can provide some additonal information we can find veterans locally that can help with packing your belongings and some that can receive you in Texas. AN Mary Tucker thanks for letting us know that you need to move your belongings from Atlanta, Georgia to Houston, Texas.
I recommend you add Atlanta, Georgia as a tag.
Do you have VA benefits? If you do perhaps the VA could help you. DVA, VFW or one of the other Veterans Service Organizations may well be able to assist you.

Sorry everyone, I had one of my procedures done and been a little sore. I do have VA benefits so I will check into it. It's getting harder to do things now with the pain and medication.. Please have patience with me.
