LOL Good question/suggestion, SGM Bill Frazer. I taught there for 6 years and that was my recommendation. Well, not literally, but explosively monitored problems. That way they can't say "The Instructor failed me!" because everyone heard the C-4 or Det Cord shot detonate.
Get motivated or find a more tame job! LMAO

This is late I am sure. There is no EOD BOLC. You will attend Ordnance BOLC which is co-located to EOD Phase 1 school on Fort Lee. So after your 6 months of "fun" at BOLC you will attend a 9 week preparatory course for the 46 week course down in Florida. Phase 1 isn't hard normally for lieutenants. You already have good study habits and generally have more than half of a brain. Your issues may be more related to the application of the material (practical exams) and restraining yourself from getting a DUI. Otherwise you should be fine, just show the instructors some respect and that, in itself, can go a long way. Hope that helps

Most of the folks who had problems brought it on themselves. Kind of a split between trying to coast through or too much weekend duty at Sammy's and the Matador (not an endorsement of either. Especially the Matador!) or PC Beach at Spinnakers or Club La Vela.
A little respect for the Instructors and staff goes a long way. I was there for 6 years and we had a few cats who would be semi respectful to us but treated the Galley staff or the Liaison office crews like crap and thought it was OK. Doesn't reflect well when it's ARB time.
Thanks for filling in the blanks, SFC (Join to see). I knew a little about BNOC and ANOC from my buddies in the various Divisions I was in but nothing about the officer side.
