Hey I am just wondering if anyone knows when the results for the July 2015 QMP board will be released. I know that the board convened on 14 July but I have not been able to get an answer as to when the results of the board will be released. I know that in prior boards some people have seen the Reenlistment Eligibility/Prohibition code on their ERB change to 9L if selected for discharge, but I don't know if that happens before the soldier is notified of the results by the CoC.

Since the board convened. Were people who were considered for the QMP board or eligible to have their Re-enlistment code changed prior or during the board convening? I do not have any code on my erb that would indicate I was looked at.

You would know if you were being considered for QMP. The first O-5 in your chain of command has to notify you before hand in you're being considered, then again after the board recesses to let you know what the results are. Basically if your BC never told you that you were being considered for QMP then you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

I emailed the Enlisted Transition Branch at HRC this morning and the lady that responded told me that they are expecting the results any time now.

Same here, I emailed the SGM in charge of centralized boards, and he told me pretty much the same thing...
Not very helpful, but maybe they honestly don't know either.

And still waiting.

I love how the Army gets 4 months to decide and then notify but by the time it's all said and done I'll have barely 5 months to setup my entire life. If I am indeed let go, that is. This is a huge fork in the road, and after the Army gets done fucking around with me, even if I am retained, I don't think I'll be reenlisting. They obviously don't give a shit.

Does anyone know anything about travel entitlements if we get QMP'd? My Home of Record is NY but I plan on moving to California for school if I get selected for QMP. On the ACAP pre separation counseling it says personnel retiring can move to anywhere in the US while those ETSing can only move back to the HOR. Is there any way I can get the Army to move me to California or am I going to have to move all my household goods myself?

I found the answer to my own question on Military One Source in case anyone else is in a similar situation. If you want to move somewhere further than your home of record make sure you choose the involuntary separation route.

Honorable discharge, involuntary separation - You may be moved anywhere within the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii) or to your home of record outside the United States within one year of your separation date.

Honorable discharge, voluntary separation - If you are separating voluntarily, you are authorized a final move within 180 days. You will be moved to your home of record (or to a location of equal or lesser distance). If you are separating under a special program authorized by your service branch, there may restrictions or benefits related to your final move as part of that program. Your military and family support center should have more information on the specifics.

Good comment, this is the type of information people need as they make choices about their transition.

As far as the codes go 13 is subject to QMP consideration, 9L is selected for QMP.

I was told last week I was selected for the QMP. My ERB still has 13 on it. We half 2 wait for HRC to send back the paperwork you signed then your code should change. Congratz and good luck to those that get to stay in, good luck to those whom are being forced out. 1 April 2016 I start a new chapter in my life.

Are we talking about the SFC list or the QMP? I haven't heard of anyone before officially notified yet for the QMP.

There seems to be a mythical MILPER that people are talking about. There are no MILPERs about QMP on the HRC website. If you don't have a solid reference you shouldn't post rumor dates because it just adds to the confusion.
