In my day 'Parry Shirts' were Ts with boxers accompanied by buckets and brushes.

It's AR/DA Pam 670-1. It says that alterations to the uniform are unauthorized. It also says that commanders may make changes to the uniform. Party shirts are local unit tradition, not an Army one. There is no such thing as a regulation for party shirts

There are certain things you can and can’t do to a party shirt and that’s what I need to know.

CW2 (Join to see) it has to look like a standard shirt with the jacket on. Other wise tasteful, nothing your BC our BDE CDR would say “Chief, we need to talk.” I’ve seen branch colors and Hawaiian prints. Some leaders hate them and ban them. They usually put it out before a function to say no party shirts
