Does Georgia pay for tuition and fees for National Guard? Also, which would be the best GI Bill to use for the Atlanta area?

If you have deployed you can get the Post 9/11 GI bill. You get anywhere from 50-100% of tuition paid directly to the school, depending on how much active duty time you have. 3 years for 100% plus you get the same percent of your housing allowance. Approximately 1500 times your percent per full month of school. Plus the Post 9/11 gives you an extra 500 up front each semester for books.

You can only use the Montgomery GI bill (monthly payment To you of about 500.) Or tuition assistance (paid directly to the school of about 4500.00 split between two semesters per year.) Unless you have been deployed.

You should talk to the Financial Aid office at whatever school you are planning to attend. They will be able to tell you if the State of Georgia has financial aid for veterans.
What do you mean 'which GI Bill"? You should be covered by only one. Please clarify. Which versions of the GI Bill do you think you qualify for?

I qualify for both Montgomery GI Bill and Post 9/11 because I haven't used my Montgomery. As long as I don't change it to Post 9/11 I still have both available
