I got promoted to SPC on 01JUL19. I then transferred directly from the Reserves to AD. No break in service. However my DOR on my ERB is the date I entered AD. So does my TIG not carry over?

No, it doesn’t transfer. And as MSG (Join to see) mentioned is because of RCP and IE/PZ calculations. What sense would it make to transfer to active and instantly be able to be promoted

Got it. Thank you SGT. So since I entered AD on the 25th of Jan this year, that should be my DOR?

Basically, no. Your DOR always gets recalculated when you go from Reserves/Guard to AD. The main reasoning, I believe, is in regards to RCP.

I'm a bit out of date on these things, but it used to be that your TiS transferred, not your TiG. That meant you were further up the pay seniority scale, but it didn't apply for promotion purposes.

Rather than depending on scuttlebutt, I would go to Personnel and get a definite answer.
