SGT Williams, you'll definitely want to check out COOL, the Army resource for Credentialing Opportunities Online.
This Army website has a comprehensive list of credentials and certs that can earn you promotion points, as well as what resources you can get to pay for them instead of out of your own pocket.
Here is the page for 88M, although one exists for each MOS: https://www.cool.army.mil/enlisted/88m.htm

I entered the Army with my CDL. And once I got out many companies had told me that my experience didn't count for anything since it wasn't DOT VERIFIABLE.

It depends on who you talk to. I used my military truck driving as a reference to get my CDL, but when the Army was hurting for 88M's in 2002-03, the Army would not use my 10 years and 1m+ miles to sign off on an 88M MOS.So the Army sent me to 88M course for 3 weeks to pick up the additional MOS

Yes, it's 10 pionts and ever endorsement is also 10 pionts per endorsement

There is a spreadsheet floating around on the military network with all technical certififications and what MOS they give points to.

SFC (Join to see) - Of course there is but keep in mind that technical certifications are 10 points each and count up to 50 points.

I am a 88M and when I was stationed in Germany, there was a guy in my unit that had a civilian CEO and I'm not sure if he got promotion points or not, but he did get paid a little bit extra for it. I got my CDL while being in the Army and so far it hasn't gotten me anything yet but the Chief recently asked at formation who had civilian CDLs in the unit about a week ago so I guess I'll see.
