Does the Army still offer the early out for school drop? I know it was valid through FY 2015 however I can't find if it was extended?

SFC (Join to see) I recommend going to the Soldier for Life center on Ft. Benning and letting a counselor answer the question. I'm in the middle of separating and one thing I have learned is that it is an individualized process. There may be regulations that allow certain activities but the installation, your separating unit, and your specific case can factor into your ability to meet the requirements of any given regulation.

Early release for school drop has to be requested and approved by your commander, through the chain to your installation transition office. I am assuming that you are under your 8 year MSO, military service obligation?
