The media should respect everyone and every belief. They're supposed to be impartial.

As all can see, there is little difference between state media/press and the private, "civilian" counterparts. Each serves to advance the agendas of their owners. They have no duty to do anything they choose not to do.

Thanks fr commenting. The media has a big influence on how others react. Do you think that people will become negative if the media isn't respecting others?

The Media does not have a duty to respect anyone but they do have a duty to respect and report the truth. That means to report BOTH sides...not just the liberal side that they have run in full support of for so long that they have forgotten their true purpose. To give their readers/viewers information and allow them to make their own decisions. Reporters today are not reporting they are Media "Personalities" they are more interested in pushing their "Brand" not the truth. That's why they Lie about being in "Combat" They want to look good not be responsible.

Reporting both sides sounds like a fair way to do it, but here's another thought.
Should journalists respect the point of view of the child rapist?
Should journalists have respected the POV of A. Hitler?

Capt Michael Greene - I think they should be respectful and just report the facts and not their personal feelings.

I understand your point of you on the media having the duty to report the truth; however, I am struggling to comprehend why you feel media shouldn't respect anyone.

SSG Shavonde Chase - People feel that you are not being respectful when you hurt their feelings. The best respect you can give someone is to tell them the truth.
