I use the VA and my husband retires next month. Does the VA offer marriage counseling? He had problems since returning from Afghanistan?

MSG Sharon Rice VA’s Vet Centers offer these types of services:
• Individual and group counseling
• Couples and family counseling
• Military sexual trauma (MST) counseling
• Readjustment counseling, like mental health services, and educational and employment counseling
• Bereavement (grief) counseling
Substance use assessment and referral
• Help applying for VA benefits

VA mental health offered my husband and I support with marriage counseling through a Community Care referral. We see someone near home, rather than having to commute the 70 miles to the main VA in our state. Ask your mental health provider.

Yes they do MSG, I haven't had to use them yet, but I have heard good things about their counseling.
