Everything you need is on the uSAREC website. Study for the SIFT. If you don't have a basic understanding of flight and rotary flight, the test will be daunting. There are study guides available for it now, lots of math so study. You are in vilseck, so I would try to go over to Graf to the airfield
And link up with an aviator who can provide you guidance on your resume as its a big part of
The packet. They should be able to help you link up with an aviation warrant for your letter of recommendation too.

Thanks a lot for the help SSG. I've been to the USAREC page, and I will definitely go over to Graf and talk to some aviators for more insight.

I would tell you to go to Katterbach where 12th CAB is at, but I don't know who's still there for you to talk to. But that's the best thing to do, especially a jr warrant as they should know the most recent course requirements
And what not.
If you need any help with any of it, let me know, in my younger days I was trying to fly
