DTS auth didn't auto-cancel and charged my GOVCC. What's the recourse?

I had an auth created for a TDY trip. The auth was never signed by me (or anyone), reviewed by anyone, or approved. The TDY was cancelled, and the travel portions of the auth auto-cancelled out. I was cleaning up after the fact, and it looks like the lodging portion never cancelled. There's a charge for $700 on my GOVCC.
Courses of action? Best way to get resolved?
Thank you!

Start simple, contact the place of lodging and see if they will reverse the charge.
Inform your chain of command NOW, so WHEN they get notice your delinquent is will not blind side them. If the place of lodging will not reverse the charge, go see the finance office and specifically the comptroller that handles the GTC and ask for suggested COA.

[~365577:SGM Erik Marquez, thank you for the reply. I'll have to give them another jingle tomorrow. It sounds like the lodging company will not reverse anything. Chain of command is involved at the moment. It'll get fun, I'm sure.

Where did the $700 charge come from?
I'll assume you made a reservation and did not cancel it.
That would normally incur a 1 day hotel fee...... where is the $700 stemming from?

That's what I'm trying to figure out. I don't know everything about DTS, but we're talking about an auth that was never signed, let alone approved. I /think/ all the reservations auto cancel. Even if they don't, we're looking at 1 day per their policy, not 9.
