During operation planning, you have the option between the old brick 1523A and the ASIP 1523E SINCGARS. Which would you choose? Why?

There isn't a real answer to this question. Does the unit have access to both radio systems? How will they be used - manpack, base station, vehicular? Each use requires a different antenna system. How far between stations? A lot of variables to consider.
