Depends on your Chain of Command. I did mine a while ago, 2007. It took about 3 months or less if I remember right. I had to send my daughter back so she could train for the Jr Olympics. She was a boxer. She ended up getting a bronze in the Jr. Olympics in case you wondered what the outcome was.

I process EROD's everyday in Germany and depending on your S1 both BN and BDE level it should only take about a month. HRC does not sit on EROD's because most of the time that dependent needs to get out of county for some reason that is kind of urgent.

It doesn't matter where it is to. Is the spouse or person a citizen of Australia? The only hiccup I can foresee is if they are not a citizen then I doubt if they approve it.

Question. Can dual military couples have to EROD their Dependents in order to receive benefits (BAH, FSA, BAS, etc.)?
Can they use other sources to receive their benefits and still send them home such as A Family care plan or Exception To Policy (ETP)?

One of my Soldiers requested an ERD here in Korea and it took 5-6 months. Korea is probably not the standard when it comes to personnel actions.
