I know Ebola is not as bad as peole fear, but it is here. Should we still be looking at sending our medical personnel to Africa when they could be needed here?

MSG Brad Sand, there is already a plan to send medical personnel to Africa. How ever, supposedly "no DOD personnel will be involved in treating civilians with ebola". And if you believe that, I have ocean front property in Arizona I would like to sell you, dirt cheap.

I know the Government is proactive...when it is reacting to something it has been tracking for decades...but too often it has plans for thing that will never happen but not for things happening right now! Maybe, hopefully, this virus is not the one that burns a swath across our nation, but it could? This one has been surprising the people who 'know' what they are doing? Sheik Umar Khan, the doctor who was leading Sierra Leone’s battle against the Ebola outbreak is dead! Dr Bernice Dahn, Liberia's chief medical authority has placed herself in quarantine following the Ebola death of her deputy? I am sure we have a plan for this...I mean we could talk to the experts handling it now...except they are either dead or quarantined!
